Italian Cookies

Italian Cookies are a small pastry preparation generally consisting of a dough made from butter, eggs, flour and sugar. They are especially loved by children and are traditionally eaten for breakfast or as a snack.

Cookie dough can be thick and firm or softer. In the former case, it is rolled out with a rolling pin and the cookies are cut out through cookie cutters or the dough is rolled and sliced with a knife.

In the case of softer dough instead, this is placed in a pastry bag and the cookies formed through the nozzles of a sac a poche. Alternatively, you can form them with the help of a spoon.
