Red Potatoes and Green Apples Recipe
- 500 gr (17 oz) – red potatoes
- 4 – tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 – green apples
- 2 -3 flakes of butter
- chopped aromatic herbs
- salt and pepper
Carefully wash and dry red potatoes and green apples, because they have to be cooked with their skin. Then cut them into small pieces (1). Pour the extra virgin olive oil in a large frying pan and heat it a bit (2). Put the potatoes and apples in oil and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, then add the butter flakes, chopped aromatic herbs according to your taste, salt and pepper. Bake another 10 minutes over high heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon (3)Remove from heat and serve as a main dish or as a side dish (4).
